Job Description

Our Integration Services function is a Managed Service that provides our Customers with Business continuity by ensuring that backend processes run smoothly, as well as fulfilling the requirements of a dynamic business by developing and implementing new integration solutions. As an Integration Specialist, you will be working in a Managed Services Team, providing support and monitoring for our key Customer’s global integration framework, and implementing changes to existing integration solutions. You will offer a blend of both technical and human support, performing pro-active monitoring and preventative actions, fulfilling requirements for changes to existing integrations, and providing help and advice to the end-users and in-house integration specialists. The role will support existing Project and Service delivery by monitoring the various message transfer protocols and gaining familiarisation with the bespoke framework used by the customer. You will be required to deploy new configurations into the various staged environments and be comfortable working on low level development requests.

Excellent communication skills are essential to satisfactorily answer customer queries and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Role expectations:
•  Monitor the Customer integration platform using in-house and proprietary tools.
• Perform initial investigation and report message failures to the customer
• Support the customers Bespoke Framework which primarily works with XML technologies outside of BizTalk, in particular XSLT and XSL
• Develop new integration solutions according to specific Customer requirements
• Manage routine integration deployments and configuration changes and troubleshoot any issues arising.
• Communicate with customers via the ITSM and collaboration channels including email and MS Teams.
• Provide feedback to Customers and request clarification where required.
• Work with cross-functional teams to achieve resolution
• Adhere to ITIL guidelines and standards in line with certification requirements.
• Follow the required processes to ensure that contracted service levels are met.
• Perform technical administration such as scheduling and execution of tasks
• Create usable, maintainable knowledge base Articles and run-books.
• Maintain reference data for internal support systems
• Provide data to assist in compiling service management reports
• Seek to continuously improve via knowledge share and organisation of team documentation.

Qualifications

• A degree in business administration, information systems, computing studies, IT (desirable)
3+ years of experience of previous experience as an application support analyst or a similar role
• Professional certifications through Amazon, Microsoft, or any other major IT certification
Technical Skills
• Experience of Microsoft Operating Systems and remote support tools
• Knowledge of standard IT hardware and equipment
• Ability to learn and understand IT Service Management software


(Desirable)
• Certified ITIL practitioner
• Understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Knowledge of Protocols, and Meta Languages, Formats and Frameworks e.g.
XML, XSLT, FTP, SFTP, SAPBIT, IDOC, HTTP, EDIFACT standard.
• Knowledge of MS Biztalk Server
• Knowledge of scripting and batch files in Windows DOS and PowerShell
• Data extraction and manipulation in MS Excel
