ABOUT THE POSITION
Responsibilities
• Adapt the staff size to the needs of the business: enable the healthy team growth
• Consult with line management providing HR guidance when appropriate
• Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation
• Cooperate with employee relationship specialist to develop contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers
• Cooperate with HRM and Division Head on Division restructures, workforce planning, identifying high potentials
• Help Training Specialist to identify training needs for Division and individual executive coaching needs
• Participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs, and follow-up to ensure training objectives are met
• Provides day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
• Cooperate with HRM in Performance Review, working closely with Division Head on implementing the yearly Performance Review
• Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Attend weekly/monthly meetings with respective Division, and give feedback to HRM if necessary
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, psychology business or any related field
• Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and employment laws
• Excellent consulting/communication skills and available to interact with employees at all levels
• Strong conflict management skills
• Develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results
• Analytical and goal oriented
• Self-directed, motivated, and positive
• Relevant industry experience a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English
