Job Description

Zynga seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer to develop core and shared services for its growing global R&D organization. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining code for common services and SDKs supporting multiple products, developing new features end-to-end (from tech specs to deployment), assisting with high-level product architecture for gateway services, defining and enforcing development standards, and managing boilerplates for new projects. This role requires a proven track record in developing complex products within a product-driven company setting, along with proficiency in Javascript, React, Redux/Recoil, testing frameworks, and Typescript. The ideal candidate will be adept at writing clean, maintainable code and managing high-risk deployments.

Must have:

5+ years Javascript experience
4+ years with React and Redux/Recoil
Proficient in testing and TDD
Fluent in Typescript
Microservices architecture knowledge

Good to have:

GCP experience

As a senior full-stack developer in our team, you will be responsible for the development of the core and shared services of a growing global R&D organization. Succeeding in the mission will help the R&D scale efficiently, setting standards, reuse code and methodologies and increase productivity and sustainability as the number of developers, product requirements, and services grow.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain code for common services and SDKs that will support multiple products
Responsible for new features e2e - from the feature tech spec to the production deployment
Assist with high-level product architecture for gateway services
Define with the team, spread and enforce development standards
Create and manage boilerplates for new projects

Requirements:

Senior Fullstack Javascript developer with a proven track record working on complex products in a product-driven company setting.
5+ years of hands-on experience with Javascript.
At least 4 years working with React and Redux/Recoil within complex scenarios and performance challenges.
High proficiency in setting up testing libraries and tests using latest tools and best practices. Experience working in companies with a test-driven development approach.
Highly fluent in Typescript
Ability to write clean, organized, and maintainable code, and manage very high-risk deployments, affecting all major company operations
Familiar with Cloud Services and microservices architectures (GCP is a plus)
