The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in a large corporate finance function, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication skills.

Your New Role…


As FP&A Manager, you support the Streaming Segment domain within the FP&A COE, which offers you a great opportunity to participate in the overall finance transformation roadmap, as well as in setting new standards for FP&A processes and management reporting framework.

This position provides support for the Streaming Segment finance organization, being responsible for consolidated management reporting, coordination of calendars and deliverables, financial analysis, data management, financial/operational reviews and issue triage. The role supports preparation of management reporting packages, flash reporting, forecast & budget reporting, trends analysis, and ad hoc analyses as required. Direct cooperation with senior finance DTC segment stakeholders on a daily basis as well as continuous work on processes & reporting improvements are also an important part of the scope.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Preparation of accurate and meaningful consolidated month-end management reporting (incl. key WBD reporting deliverables),

  • Communication of monthly consolidated results to segment finance teams and preparation of value-added ad hoc financial reports and analyses as appropriate (incl. reporting for senior stakeholders),

  • Support the consolidation, close out and reporting of the final approved DTC forecast and submission to WBD FP&A,

  • Preparation of consolidated budget and forecast comparative reporting to Senior Finance Leadership and the WBD FP&A group.

  • Analyze forecast information to ensure accuracy, identify trends, and develop key storylines,

  • Serve as a liaison between the segment finance teams and the Accounting and GBS teams on accounting matters, for issue escalation and resolution, and for the communication of business and process changes,

  • Liaise with the WBD financial system support team to address reporting and system changes that will impact the segment consolidation and reporting activities,

  • Actively work with key stakeholders, operating groups, and finance team members to improve the effectiveness of the financial planning process, assumptions, models/reports and results,

  • Provide high-quality (ad-hoc) analysis to Senior Finance Leadership.

Qualifications & Experience…

  • 6+ years’ of demonstrated experience in a large corporate, or relevant experience in investment banking position in finance function with focus on the consolidation activities,

  • Diversified experience in financial reporting, forecasting, planning, modeling, and strong analytical skills,

  • Self-motivated individual, detail-oriented with ability to work independently and collaboratively,

  • Knowledge of media industry dynamics and key metrics impacting revenue would be an asset,

  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills,

  • Great communication skills and relationship building,

  • Ability to establish professional, trust-based relationship with variety of finance and non-finance stakeholders,

  • Be able to meet stringent deadlines and work under pressure while showing excellent attention to detail,

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize and adhere to strict deadlines,

  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing a team,

  • Advanced Excel skills,

  • Strong working knowledge of financial software packages and Microsoft Office suite,

  • Experience in using EPM solution such as SAP BPC, Hyperion, Anaplan, Adaptive.
