Role Overview

In your role as a Financial Services Representative, you are the front line to our clients and our clients’ clients. This position provides transaction processing services with a customer-focused approach. You will work as part of a team for the purpose of provided proactive and innovative solutions to customers. What You Will Get To Do:

  • Provide mutual funds transaction processing services with a customer-focused approach.
  • Provide proactive and innovative solutions to customers.
  • Entry level support representatives work on standard, repeatable tasks that require limited judgement and decision making.
  • Acquire job skills and learn company policies and procedures to complete tasks.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and works under close supervision. 
  • Provide world class service to our customers by processing service requests that come to the team through various channels including email, facsimile and mail.
  • Typical service requests include purchases, redemptions, transfers, exchanges, account maintenance and new account set-up.
  • Accuracy is vitally important in this role as you deal with investments.
  • You will review transactions for quality, ensuring the accuracy of the work entered.
  • On occasion you will work with clients over the phone in order to resolve complex issues. This role, however, is performed about 90% of the time via computer.
  • You will have the opportunity to cross train in different areas to expand your knowledge base and help you develop new skills as you advance in the company.

What You Will Bring:

  • Knowledge of transfer agency, fund procedures, and Federal regulations required in order to process complex transactions accurately and/or communicate with clients, shareowners, broker/dealers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to converse knowledgeably and concisely with clients, team members and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide effective coaching and feedback to develop and support team members.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret written requests/issues accurately and supply appropriate follow-up action as necessary.
  • Strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office Product Suite.
  • Meets and surpasses quality and productivity objectives within current role; brings a quality mindset to all aspects of the work.
  • Excellent ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, handling and following through on multiple tasks within multiple deadlines for multiple clients.
  • Ability to deal with unexpected situations and address sensitive issues.
  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail in order to ensure that all deadlines and service levels are met
  • Experience with SS&C (formerly DST) proprietary software programs such as TA2000 and AWD preferred
