Job Description

We are seeking a Finance Intern to gain hands-on experience and support our Finance Team. Your responsibilities will include managing Purchase Orders and invoices, reviewing financial information, preparing monthly/yearly closings, and assisting with budget and forecasting processes. You will also have the opportunity to improve existing workflows and manage barters and programming contracts. This internship is ideal for individuals with a strong analytical mindset and a desire to learn and contribute to a fast-paced environment.

Must have:

Degree in Economics, Finance or similar
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Proactive, motivated, responsible, with strong attention to detail
Teamwork skills, interest in learning, commitment to deliver
Proficient in MS Excel, Fluent in English
Ability to complete tasks with tight timelines

Good to have:

Spanish language proficiency

Job Summary:

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

We are looking for a Finance Intern to learn how to perform various technical and daily tasks, essential to support our Finance Team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Executing administrative processes related to costs: manage and revision of Purchase Orders and invoices;
Reviewing monthly financial information for the purpose of identifying potential budget / forecast variances;
Preparing monthly/yearly closings and supporting the reporting team;
Maintaining and improving the existing workflows through suggestions;
Give support during budget and forecast processes;
Manage barters workflow;
Control of programming contracts (creation of new assets);
Assist in the Financial departments daily tasks.

EXPECTED AREAS OF COMPETENCE (i.e. Personal Skills & Attributes):

Degree in Economics, Finance and / or similar areas;
Analytical thinking and problem solving skills;
Proactive, dynamic, motivated, responsible, with strong attention to detail and teamwork skills;
Interest in learning and fully committed to deliver the best in every task and ability to drive multiple work-streams;
Ability to complete tasks with tight timelines, both collaboratively and by self-managing;
Proficient on MS Excel;
Must be fluent in English. Spanish is a plus.
Must be available to start in August
