Summary:

Blue Yonder is looking for a talented, results-driven field marketing intern to join our award-winning, fast-paced, energetic marketing team and drive growth initiatives with the sales and business development teams. This position will play a critical role in driving the success of marketing events, campaigns and account-based marketing programs across the Manufacturing industry.  

The successful candidate will bring passion, ambition and an entrepreneurial spirit to the role with the ambition to become a B2B marketing professional.  Our ideal candidate is quick to adopt processes and systems, exhibits a close attention to detail, and comfortable with drafting communications. Your skills and passion can make a significant impact!

What you will do:

  • Account-Based Marketing (ABM):
    • Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify target accounts.
    • Develop and execute ABM strategies tailored to specific accounts.
    • Track and analyze the effectiveness of ABM initiatives.
  • Event Coordination and Management:
    • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing marketing events.
    • Coordinate logistics for trade shows, webinars, and other marketing events.
    • Manage event calendars and timelines to ensure timely execution.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, business development, and product marketing.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for marketing strategies.
    • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Professional Development:
    • Gain hands-on experience in B2B marketing within the Manufacturing industry.
    • Develop skills in event management, campaign execution, and account-based marketing.
    • Receive mentorship and guidance from experienced marketing professionals.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Handle administrative tasks related to marketing activities.
    • Assist with special projects as needed.

What we are looking for:

  • Applicant must be local to the Dallas area
  • Currently pursuing a degree related to marketing, business administration, communications, or information technology
  • Demonstrated interests in the continually evolving craft of marketing
  • Ability to work independently, creatively and analytically
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Keen on working in an international environment
  • Flexibility with the ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Organizational and communication skills
  • Team player
  • Interest in marketing technology, systems and progress
  • Some experience with CRM (preferably Salesforce.com and Marketo)
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Databases
