The Executive Assistant supports the SVP/Head of Disney Games, a key member of a dynamic team. Responsibilities include complex calendar management, handling confidential correspondence, travel arrangements, event planning, vendor payments (using SAP), team onboarding/offboarding, project tracking, meeting coordination (Zoom/Teams), minute-taking, report preparation, and executive preparation for meetings. The role requires proactive problem-solving, strong communication, and meticulous attention to detail. Experience supporting executives is crucial, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, and collaboration tools. Travel is required.

This position supports the Senior Vice President/Head of Disney Games. You would be a part of the Disney Games team and would be a key member of a dynamic, fast-paced team and would work with the most creative, intelligent people in the business.

We are looking for an experienced administrative professional with a curiosity and passion for games.

What You Will Do

Every day in this role is different. On any given day you might:

  • Thoughtfully manage complex calendars, protecting your executive's time through strategic calendar management and vetting a variety of meeting requests
  • Manage your executive’s Inbox to include composing correspondence on behalf of executive, handling highly confidential correspondence and information with utmost discretion
  • Work closely with the Executive on activities, projects, meetings, event planning and office logistics
  • Build travel itineraries, book travel arrangements and handle Travel & Entertainment expenses for your leader and/or team
  • Proactively resolve issues and pitch in to help
  • Coordinate onboarding/offboarding of team members
  • Process and track payments to vendors using SAP
  • Track team time off using Labor Reports in SAP
  • Plan recognition and team events
  • Order supplies and equipment along with other office management duties
  • Manage project tracking and follow-up
  • Schedule and host Zoom/Teams meetings which could include presentation-sharing
  • Attend meetings to take notes and followup on action items
  • Prepare professional PowerPoint decks and reports to be shared with leaders and stakeholders
  • Ensure the executive is prepared for meetings and events
  • Research and report on specific topics as required

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 7+ years of experience supporting business executives in an administrative role
  • Proven success in partnering and interacting with all levels of employees including executive leadership
  • Prior work experience in a support or administrative role
  • Strong proficiency with standard office and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Slack,
  • Generally tech-savvy and willing to learn new skills, including the use of AI assistance
  • Professional and highly discreet while maintaining absolute confidentiality
  • Effective communication skills, including diplomatic and professional handling of all forms of communications
  • Ability to be proactive, resourceful, flexible, and responsible
  • Preparing and sharing meeting minutes
  • Extremely well organized and attentive to detail
  • Travel is required for role - can vary

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience supporting an executive at the Senior Vice President level
  • Experience within the gaming industry and understanding of video games
  • Working in a large publicly traded company

Education

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $73,400.00 to $98,400.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
