Job Description

As a Senior Social Analyst, you will lead the success of client-paid social media campaigns. You'll provide insightful leadership on campaign strategies and optimization, building strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal team members. You'll direct bid strategy, campaign optimizations, and reporting for paid social media campaigns, overseeing budgets and flighting for self-service platforms. You'll also manage rate tracking, benchmarking, planning costs, and overall budget for client accounts, and forecast around audits and campaign analytics. Additionally, you'll assist the Manager and greater team with overall strategy and recommendations and serve as a mentor to Analysts.
Must have:
  • 1-2 years of paid social media experience
  • Experience buying and planning across platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Tumblr, Instagram, and Pinterest
  • Client-facing experience
  • Experience using paid media to complement earned media campaigns
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Genuine interest in digital media and industry trends

Job Description

Overview:

  • The Senior Social Analyst is responsible for leading the success of client-paid social media campaigns by providing thoughtful leadership on campaign strategies and optimization, building strong relationships, and establishing clear lines of communication with clients, partners, and internal staff members.

Role Objectives:

  • Use analytical and problem-solving capabilities to ensure flawless campaign execution to meet and exceed stated client objectives
  • Direct bid strategy, campaign optimizations, and reporting for paid social media campaigns
  • Oversee budgets and flighting for all self-service platforms
  • Manage rate tracking, benchmarking, planning costs, and overall budget for client accounts
  • Forecast around audits and campaign analytics
  • Assist the Manager and greater team with overall strategy and recommendations
  • Serve as a mentor to Analysts and available for ad hoc questions and training.

 

Qualifications

  • English Advanced B2+
  • 1-2 years of paid social media experience required
  • Demonstrated experience buying and planning across multiple platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Tumblr, Instagram, and Pinterest
  • Experience working in a client-facing capacity
  • Experience using paid media to complement earned media campaigns and meet business objectives
  • Proficiency in MS Office with specific strengths in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to work independently and balance multiple tasks
  • Genuine interest in the digital media space and enjoys staying up-to-date on industry trends
