Molex is looking for an experienced Development Lead with expertise in Polarion to join our Digital Transformation Team. This role is essential in leading the development and customization efforts of Polarion software solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving innovation in project management and collaboration practices. As the Development Lead, you will oversee a team of Polarion developers, providing technical guidance, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the successful delivery of Polarion projects.

What You Will Do

Lead the development and customization of Polarion software solutions, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and define project scopes.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Polarion development team, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and project timelines.

Design and implement complex Polarion solutions, including templates, workflows, and integrations with other systems and tools, such as JIRA, Teamcenter, etc.

Drive innovation and continuous improvement in Polarion development processes, leveraging new technologies and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure the successful delivery of Polarion projects within established timelines and budget constraints.

Mentor and coach junior developers, fostering their professional growth and development within the Polarion ecosystem.

Serve as a subject matter expert on Polarion development best practices, sharing knowledge and insights with the broader organization to promote adoption and utilization of Polarion capabilities.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

8+ years of hands-on experience in Polarion development and customization, with demonstrated expertise in leading complex Polarion projects.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy or JavaScript, with extensive experience in developing and customizing Polarion solutions.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies and processes, with experience in leading Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid projects using Polarion.

Experience with Polarion integrations, including integration with other project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Teamcenter) and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of developers, fostering collaboration and driving results.

Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies, with experience in DevOps practices and cloud deployment of Polarion-based solutions.

Proven track record of delivering high-quality Polarion solutions on time and within budget, with a focus on customer satisfaction and business value delivery.

Excellent logical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a track record of successfully addressing complex technical challenges.
