Custom Keyboard Technician (Temporary)

This is an in-person, temporary position located at our warehouse in Irving, TX (near Dallas). Candidates for this role must be able to work on-site for 40 hours per week. This role is slated to run through the end of 2024 with the possibility of extension based on order volume.

We are currently seeking two (2) temporary Custom Keyboard Technicians to join our team for the 2024 holiday season. These individuals will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting custom keyboard orders that are received via the Glorious website. 

This position reports to the IT & Operations Manager.

Compensation

The starting hourly rate for this role is $15 USD.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble keyboards per customer order specifications
• Pick and prepare individual components for upcoming builds
• Apply lubricant to select components prior to installation
• Test custom keyboard functionality prior to shipment
• Prepare completed builds for shipment
• Repair malfunctioning units
• Assist other individuals or teams as requested

• Located and authorized to work in the United States
• Professional fluency in English
• Must be able to reliably commute to our warehouse in Irving, TX
• Ability to work 8 hours daily (Monday through Friday) between 9 am and 5:30 pm
• Demonstrated experience building and/or troubleshooting electronic devices, including keyboards and mice, PCs, laptops, monitors, etc.
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to remain in a stationary position while working
• Team player with high energy and ability to work with others
