Job Description

As a Contracting Operations Manager at Google, you'll support the entire agreement lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution and renewal. You will manage relationships with vendors and outsourced partners, ensuring compliance with agreement terms and SLAs. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and finalizing agreements, ensuring accuracy and legal compliance. You will also support negotiations, clarify terms, and resolve issues in collaboration with partners. This role requires experience in contract management, legal, or procurement, with a focus on the agreement lifecycle. You'll work within Google's Procurement Organization to bring excellence to Google-wide sourcing, supplier, and contract management, aiming for efficiency and security in Google's buying processes.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
7+ years in contract management, legal, or procurement
Experience in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing agreements
Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance
Managing relationships with vendors and outsourced partners

Good to have:

Advanced degree or certifications in Contract Management
Experience managing extended workforce agreements
Proficiency in contract management software
Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements
Effective collaboration with legal teams

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
7 years of experience in contract management, legal, or procurement roles, with a focus on overseeing the agreement life-cycle.
Experience in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing agreements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Preferred qualifications:

Advanced degree or certifications in Contract Management, Business Law, or a related field.
Experience in managing extended workforce agreement functions or tasks, and overseeing and managing the performance of extended workforce functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and quality standards.
Experience in ensuring compliance with these requirements throughout the agreement lifecycle.
Proficiency in using contract management software and tools to streamline and automate contract management processes.
Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to contract management.
Ability to manage agreements and collaborate effectively with legal teams to optimize agreement processes, including negotiation and issue resolution.

Identify and engage with external vendors or service providers to handle specific aspects of the agreement process.
Draft, review, and finalize agreements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Provide support and assistance in agreement negotiations, terms clarification, and resolving issues in collaboration with outsourced partners.
Support management of relationships with agreement-related vendors or outsourced partners, ensuring alignment with agreement terms and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
