Content Management System (CMS) - Technical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled CMS Techncial Lead with extensive experience in implementing headless CMS solutions, specifically using platforms such as Contentstack, Contentful, or Amplience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MACH (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, and Headless) and composable architecture. You will play a pivotal role in leading content migration projects from other CMS platforms, setting up efficient workflows, and integrating translation engines.

What you do

Minimum of 8+ years of experience in web development, with at least 3 years focused on headless CMS implementations. Proven experience with Contentstack, Contentful, or Amplience. Strong understanding of MACH architecture and composable design principles. Extensive experience in content migration from traditional CMS platforms. Experience setting up workflows and integrating translation engines.

Desirable technical skills stack apart from mentioned above, strong knowledge of API design and integration, including RESTful and GraphQL. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of SEO best practices and performance optimization. Understanding in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, etc.).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Headless CMS Implementation:

Lead the implementation of headless CMS solutions using Contentstack, Contentful, or Amplience.

Design and develop scalable and efficient architectures that leverage MACH and compo sable principles.

Oversee the integration of CMS platforms with other systems and services via APIs.

Content Migration

Plan and execute content migration projects from traditional CMS platforms to headless CMS.

Develop and implement strategies for data mapping, content transformation, and validation.

Ensure minimal downtime and data integrity during migration processes.

Workflow And Translation Management

Set up and optimize content workflows to streamline content creation, review, and publishing processes.

Integrate and manage translation engines to support multi-language content delivery.

Collaborate with content creators and editors to ensure seamless workflow and translation processes.

Technical Leadership

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.

Ensure best practices in coding, architecture, and security are adhered to.

Conduct code reviews and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Collaboration And Communication

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide regular updates on project status.

Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise.
