Job Description

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa’s network clients, including both financial services and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients. 

In addition to offering strategic insights and solutions across the entire customer journey, VCA Managed Services (VMS) is equipped to provide hands-on support within client environments. This includes deploying skilled experts who can seamlessly integrate and execute enhancements, manage change initiatives, and accelerate the implementation of recommended strategies and operational improvements. This approach ensures that clients can efficiently address their specific needs and achieve desired outcomes more swiftly

Exemplary projects:

  • Enabling digital functionalities such as external wallets, travel wallets, and contactless controls for leading banks
  • Launching an Olympic Marketing campaign for Visa cardholders
  • Leading the migration of payment cards from an old legacy card issuing platform to a new one
  • Identifying opportunities to increase active card and purchase volume market share in Commercial, Debit & Prepaid, and Credit Cards
  • Issuing virtual cards for a leading client's customer base

 Day to day responsibilities:

  • Support the VCA team in the delivery of projects across various domains, from payments, digital, and products to strategy, including project management.
  • Assist in the delivery of detailed data gathering and analysis to obtain valuable insights.
  • Perform data and trend analyses using Visa’s data tools.
  • Support strategy to market activities including but not limited to workshops, stakeholder meetings, content development etc.
  • Support the development and maintenance of VCA service sales and delivery collateral (‘toolkit’).
  • Support the VCA team with ongoing operations, administration, and team-building activities.

Visa’s Summer Intern Programme: 
 
Visa hires into its Summer Intern programme across Asia Pacific (APAC), Latin America (LAC), CEMEA (Central Europe, Middle East & Africa) and Europe.  Within each region we hire students into a variety of business functions, joining in either our June or July cohort, as part of a Global programme.  

This is an 11-week programme, where you are supported with various skills and development sessions throughout your time as an Intern. You are required to be available for the continuous 11 weeks with the option to take some annual leave days should you need.  
Our 2 Summer Intern cohort dates are: 

  • 10th June- 22nd August 

  • 1st July – 19th September  

The aim of Visa’s Summer internship programme is not only to provide you with exposure and experience within a world leading payments company but is that based on your performance and personal experience we would aim extend an offer to return the following summer on our Graduate programme as a permeant employee.  

Qualifications

Therefore, our requirements are few: 

  • Be in your penultimate year of university, including any further master's degrees or courses. Meaning your education will be complete in 2026. 

  • Full, permanent, right to work for the location you are applying to. Visa will not provide sponsorship for this role. Please specify this in your CV.

  • Fluent in both English

  • Interest in technology and the payments industry 

Desired Skills 

  • Strong communication skills – Oral and written fluency in local language and English is required. 

  • Curious mindset with an interest in solving problems alongside strong analytical and quantitative skills, driving insight from data analysis. 

  • Proactive attitude with experience of being a self-starter, a willingness to learn and to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate.
