The ideal candidate for this position builds a community on social media platforms for our fans, attending events, writing newsletters, and organizing live streams. A Community Manager plays a special role in the success of our game studio.

We are looking for a super talented Community Manager who possesses exceptional communication skills and a dynamic elaborate approach to unite the development team with fans.
Responsibilities:
Determine the game's community strategy, schedule and participate in events.
Plan and create community assets such as screenshots, podcasts, videos, etc. in collaboration with marketing and development teams
Be the spokesperson for the game or the franchise
Create resources and content for players to help enhance the player experience
Define necessary tools to manage the entire gaming community community
Plan and coordinate studio visits by fans, dialogues with development teams, and events
Thorough crisis communication - find the best way to handle criticisms
Collect and integrate various game data from multiple territories
Build and maintain relationships with key influencers in the community
Skills & Requirements
Able to work several times a week at the Tokyo (Japan) headquarters
At least 2 years of experience in community management at a game studio or publisher
Extensive experience in social web outreach, proficiency with native social media platforms and analytics
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, media studies or related field, or equivalent work experience
Be well-informed on social networking sites and keep up with trends
Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and listening)
Excellent research and analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent critical decision making skills
Fluent in English, proficient in Japanese (speaking and writing)
