Summary
The Community Manager - Americas will be responsible for driving player engagement and fostering a positive community for Hunt: Showdown 1896 across Discord, Reddit, and X (Twitter). They will act as the bridge between players and internal teams (Communications, LiveOps, Marketing), ensuring clear and consistent communication. Responsibilities include serving as the primary point of contact on Discord, developing community building strategies, monitoring community sentiment, collaborating with LiveOps on messaging and updates, managing influencers, and driving internal communication. Weekend coverage is required as part of a team. This role requires a deep understanding of Hunt: Showdown 1896 and its player base.
Must have:
- 2+ years community management experience in gaming

Community Manager - Americas
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Community Manager to join our Hunt: Showdown 1896 communications team. In this role, you will drive player engagement and foster a positive, connected community across Hunt’s digital spaces, particularly within Discord, Reddit, and X (Twitter).
You’ll be the bridge between our passionate player community and internal teams, working directly with the Communications, LiveOps, and Marketing teams to ensure smooth, authentic, and clear communication in line with our brand’s voice.

Please note that you must be located and able to work remotely from one of the following countries:
North America: United States, Canada, Mexico
South America: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru, and any other countries within the continent.
- Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for our players on Discord, building personal connections with the community and moderating discussions to foster a positive environment amongst players.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of community building strategies across all key player hubs
- Act a spokesperson for the project within the community
- Monitor community sentiment, identify and escalate issues to Communications Lead
- Collaborate with the LiveOps team to align player messaging, announcements, and updates, ensuring players stay informed and engaged.
- Work closely with the Marketing and wider Communicationsteam to manage influencers and content creators via our Hunt partner program.
- Actively drive positive internal communication within the marketing, communications, PR departments.
- Provide weekend coverage of key channels to ensure consistent communication as a part of the full Community Management team throughout the week
- Requirements
- 2+ years community management experience, preferably working within the gaming industry.
- Strong personal connection with Hunt: Showdown 1896, with experience as a player, understanding the product and its player community.
- Fundamental understanding and passion for gaming culture and the industry, including familiarity with competitor’s products and trends in the gaming landscape.
- Hands-on attitude with a focus on direct community interaction; this role requires a highly active presence across all channels.
- Ability to quickly identify, flag, and assist in resolving community issues, both individually and with the support of internal teams.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.
- Pluses
- Familiarity with key streamers, influencers, and content creators relevant to Hunt and similar games within the genre.
- Other/non-professional community management experience, e.g. as a volunteer Discord moderator.
