As a Cloud Business Intelligence (BI) Architect, you will work with customers on projects to help them transform their businesses. You will provide management, consulting, and technical support to customer engagements while working with customer executives and technical leaders to deploy data solutions via Google’s Cloud Platform. Responsibilities include proposing solution architectures, managing deployment of Cloud BI and Analytics solutions, interacting with sales and technical stakeholders to translate customer requirements, establishing relationships with product and engineering teams, packaging standard processes into methodologies, advocating the use of data for operational reporting, and delivering insights to business stakeholders. This role involves up to 30% travel for customer engagements.
Must have:
  • 10+ years cloud native architecture experience
  • Experience with BI tools and cloud databases (BigQuery)
  • Experience architecting solutions in virtualized environments
  • Presenting to technical and executive stakeholders
  • Proposing and deploying cloud BI solutions
Good to have:
  • Experience in technical sales or consulting
  • Customer-facing migration experience
  • Programming/scripting languages (SQL, Python, R)
  • Data analytics or Big Data experience

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
  • Experience working with business intelligence tools and cloud databases, such as BigQuery.
  • Experience with architecting, developing, or maintaining technical solutions in virtualized environments.
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in technical sales or consulting in cloud computing, data analytics, or Big Data.
  • Experience in customer-facing migration, including service discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and operations.
  • Experience in programming/scripting languages including SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, Oracle, R, or Python).

As a Cloud Business Intelligence (BI) Architect, you will work with customers on projects to help them transform their businesses. You will provide management, consulting, and technical support to customer engagements while working with customer executives and technical leaders to deploy data solutions via Google’s Cloud Platform. You will use data and work with Google partners currently servicing accounts to manage programs, deliver services, and provide technical guidance and standard procedure knowledge.

This role involves traveling up to 30% of the time for customer engagements and field programs as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Propose solution architectures and manage deployment of Cloud Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions according to customer requirements and implementation standard procedures.
  • Interact with sales, partner leads and technical stakeholders to translate customer requirements into recommendations for solutions and consulting services.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with product and engineering teams, serving as advocate of the customer and assisting in testing and implementing new features, products, and solutions. Work with internal specialists, product, and engineering teams to package standard processes learned into thought leadership, methodologies, and published assets.
  • Advocate the use of data to develop operational reporting and tooling to understand utilization, performance, and adoption of products to inform customer engagement strategies.
  • Deliver insights to business stakeholders and influence customer engagements as new products, features, and solutions are launched.
