A Blue chip Spanish bank with IT located in Poland seeks a senior Calypso BA to enhance its existing team. The role involves developing new products and redesigning existing ones to meet front office needs. Key responsibilities include requirement analysis, functional specification documentation, workflow and pricing configuration for interest rate products, reference data maintenance, process design for trade migration from external systems, data validation and reconciliation, resolving pricing issues (NPV, accruals, cash, risk, PnL), collaborating with front office and risk teams, suggesting improvements, and creating documentation (BRDs, test cases, run books). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Calypso FO-BO expert.

Project description

Blue chip spanish bank with IT located in Poland is looking to enhance it's BA Calypso team. We are currently present on the client for BA, TA and CATT. Also in other Position keeping systems like Murex.

The project is to develope new products and redisign existing ones in order to meet FO Needs

Responsibilities

As a crucial role in the calypso project development, the key responsibilities are:

Requirement Analysis:

Gather and analyze business requirements from different stakeholders.

Document functional specifications .

Configuration and Setup:

Configure workflows and pricing for interest rate products.

Set up and maintain reference data.

Coordinate testing with our CATT team

Process Design and Migration:

Design processes for migrating trades from external systems.

Validate input, reconcile data, and retain historical trades.

Investigate and resolve pricing-related issues such as NPV (Net Present Value), accruals, cumulative cash, risk, and PnL (Profit and Loss).

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with front office, risk, and other teams on various initiatives.

Suggest improvements and better ways of working.

Documentation:

Write Business Requirement Documents (BRD), test cases, run books, and contribute to the knowledge base.
