Job Description

The Buyer 2 position in Toluca, Mexico focuses on powertrain sourcing and cost reduction. Responsibilities include supplier management, sourcing activities, supplier development, commodity strategy, CR activities (negotiation, Gemba Activity & Monozukuri), SCC & NON SCC management, and inflation claims management. The role requires strong negotiation skills, organization, prioritization, and a proven ability to exceed performance objectives. A deep understanding of commercial and legal regulations within the automotive industry is essential. The successful candidate will be involved in budget analysis, quote analysis, quote formation, benchmarking, cost forecasting, and negotiation. Annual spending averages $401M USD.
