Responsibilities:

LIGHTSPEED STUDIOS is made up of passionate players who advance the art & science of game development through great stories, great gameplay, and advanced technology. We are focused on bringing next generation experiences to gamers who want to enjoy them anywhere, anytime, across multiple genres and devices.

We currently have internship opportunities open for undergraduate students at our Auckland office. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support senior project managers with everyday tasks on game development projects.

  • Take part in business related tasks and projects.

  • Liaise and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Plan and execute business development programs.

  • Work with teams in our global offices.

  • Use various business and project management tools.

  • Other project support work as required.

Requirements:

  • Highly self-motivated, able to take charge and responsibility for tasks and objectives to carry them through to completion.

  • Excellent communication skills, both in written and oral form, to work effectively with others.

  • Ability to think outside the box.

  • Excellent business tools skills, i.e. MS Office suite of tools and other business tools.

  • Multilingual, fluent in English and Chinese. Able to communicate effectively for business 

  • purposes in both oral and written form.

  • People skills, able to build up working relationships and enjoys working with people of various backgrounds and cultures.

  • Someone who enjoys computer games or has a good understanding of the gaming industry would be a plus.
