Summary
Google's New Business Sales team seeks a Business Development Consultant fluent in English and Japanese. The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years of experience in business, marketing, consulting, or a related field, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to pitch comprehensive advertising solutions. The role involves aligning business goals with sustainable Google advertising strategies, creating ad campaigns, and understanding client needs to propose effective solutions. This is a full-time position within Google Customer Solutions (GCS), focusing on helping small- and medium-sized businesses grow using Google's marketing products (YouTube, AdWords, Google Display Network).

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in business, marketing, consulting, or another relevant field.
Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently in order to interact with local stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience building a book of business, ensuring the management and fulfillment of strategic goals, and developing associated agreements.
Experience in sales in the internet advertising industry.
Ability to take initiative, be comfortable with ambiguity, and succeed in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to pitch comprehensive advertising solutions over video conference or in person to key prospects.
Excellent problem-solving skills to understand the client's agenda, organize their needs, and propose the appropriate solution.

Responsibilities
Work with new customers to educate them on how to align their business goals to sustainable Google advertising solutions.
Cultivate a pipeline of high-value prospects for long-term growth and sustainability.
Secure new Google Ads clients by presenting marketing solutions, and create relevant ad campaigns that maximize their returns.
Develop business strategies that optimize the market potential.
Work with C-level customers to understand their business needs and set appropriate data-backed expectations.
