We are looking for an experienced and driven Assistant Manager to contribute to a variety of Record to Report transformation programs. You will work with a variety of global teams (including Record to Report, Transformation, IT etc.) to identify opportunities to automate Record to Report processes and help institutionalise business process knowledge. You will:

  • Understand, document, and build harmonious end-to-end Record to Report processes and maintain documentation to institutionalize knowledge. Establish common tools across all geographies, divisions, and subsidiaries.
  • Identity process automation and improvement opportunities and support prioritization; develop and achieve transformation roadmap. Focus on continuous improvement and support in overseeing projects to automate/improve processes.
  • Use technology to support acceleration of financial close. Map controls to processes and support review of important risks and associated controls.
  • Build methodology to confirm compliance to each control periodically; support operations leaders to prepare material and walkthroughs for audit reviews and
  • Work with teams to define and measure goals. Build process and systems training and refresh periodically; conduct training. Work as an individual contributor, in a matrix organization.

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • CA, CPA or MBA with 5 to 7 years of experience supporting Record to Report processes, and related technology. Drive consistency of processes using prior knowledge of industry best practices.
  • Extensive knowledge of Record to Report processes including journal entry rationalization, account reconciliations, chart of accounts rationalization, fixed assets tracking, close process improvement, reporting, etc.

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Understanding of internal controls, SOX compliance and latest tech stack for the process area with hands-on deployment experience; knowledge of RPA, AI, ML, etc.
  • Experience with systems such as NetSuite, Floqast, Coupa, Salesforce and knowledge of collaborative tools (LucidCharts, Google workspace, etc.) and Ms office.
  • Continuous improvement mindset. Experience working with cross-functional team members and collaborating with IT and engineering teams.
