What Success Looks Like In This Role

We are seeking an experienced Application Deployment Architect for implementing deployment solutions, with a deep understanding. The candidate will be responsible for scaling infrastructure, managing various tiers of architecture, and ensuring performance and security.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement application deployment architectures.

Develop logical and physical architecture for applications.

Scale infrastructure through both horizontal and vertical scaling.

Manage various tiers of architecture, including UI, middle layer, and backend.

Ensure performance and security standards are met for the architecture.

Implement hosted models on-premises.

Work with Linux, ESX OS, Windows OS, and OS2200 platforms.

Use JBoss as the application server.

Manage databases including MS SQL and Oracle.

Configure and manage F5 load balancers.

Utilize Tomcat Apache web server and IBM MQ.

Conduct performance testing using Dynatrace.

Perform security vulnerability assessments using Invicti, IBM AppScan, and SonarQube.

Remediate security vulnerabilities.

Document deployment procedures and create comprehensive deployment guides.

Collaborate with development, operations, and quality assurance teams.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to application deployment.

Mentor and guide junior team members in deployment best practices.

Participate in audits when required.

Required Skills

Expertise in application deployment architecture.

Strong understanding of logical and physical architecture design.

Experience with scaling infrastructure both horizontally and vertically.

Knowledge of various architecture tiers including UI, middle layer, and backend.

Proficiency in performance and security concepts for architecture.

Experience with hosted models on-premises.

Proficiency in Linux, ESX OS, Windows OS, and OS2200 platforms.

Experience with JBoss application server.

Proficiency in MS SQL and Oracle databases.

Experience with F5 load balancers.

Proficiency in Tomcat Apache web server and IBM MQ.

Experience with Dynatrace for performance testing.

Experience with security tools such as Invicti, IBM AppScan, and SonarQube.

Experience in security vulnerability remediation.

Preferred: Participation in audits.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Master’s Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years of relevant IT implementation experience.
