Job Description & Summary

This role will support the Visual, Media & Communication Services (VMCS) team with its core service which is the design and layout of PPT and Google Slides presentations. Creative work required can also include marketing collateral such as web document creation, thought leadership articles, white papers, email banners and promotional videos with motion graphics.

As a design preparer, the VMCS Associate will work with a highly collaborative team. Smaller project teams will be set up on a case to case basis with the supervision of the project lead. We are in need of a creative individual with a solid passion for design and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Precise formatting of slides (Microsoft PPT and Google Slides) based on the creative brief with strict compliance to PwC brand guidelines

• Develop different marketing and communication materials such as bios, templates, videos, motion graphics, print and digital PDF and interactive web content

• Maintain brand standards and high quality output across all work requests

• Identify and compose design elements including layout, color, illustration, imagery and typography to produce effective decks and presentations

• Consult best practices with senior team members to effectively execute design tasks

• Ensure internal deadlines are met by working effectively under time constraints

• Provide general guidance and assistance to new joiners and/or junior staff

Essential Requirements:

Work experience

• At least 3 years of experience in multimedia and/or graphic design, preferably working on corporate branded projects (Agency experience is a plus but not required)

• Highly proficient with working in both Windows and Macintosh operating systems

• Mastery of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)

• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat)

Design and creativity

• Impressive and up-to-date design portfolio (PDF and/or online)

• Extensive knowledge of graphic design fundamentals and current trends

• Strong understanding of branding and corporate identity

• Excellent sense of color, space, and composition

Communication

• Extremely detail-oriented with superior communication skills

• Excellent communication in both written and verbal English

• Solid team player with a collaborative mindset

Preferred Experience/Skills:

Technical

• Expert in design execution and technical understanding of Microsoft Powerpoint

• Knowledgeable in motion graphics and video editing using industry standard software such as Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro

• Capable of modifying brand compliant vector illustrations and creating original concepts if needed

Professional

• Ability to understand the creative brief and specific formatting directions provided by the project lead

• Strong attention to detail and ability to review own work

• Curiosity with the design process, overall project workflow and best practices within the industry

• Solid team player skills with ability to engage in a global work setting and highly collaborative environment

Other Capabilities:

• Knowledgeable in web design, development and publishing

• Background on design and production for print

• Previous experience in a similarly structured designer role
