2025 Summer Internship - Production Design

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is now hiring Interns for Production Design in Entertainment & Costuming Team.

Responsibilities

• Artistic responsibility for the creation of graphic art, backdrop designs, prop designs, show signage designs, etc.

• Supervise contractors and vendors in the construction of entertainment elements, as well as attend, supervise, and champion safety during offsite vendor visits and overnight installations.

• Develop presentation art and work closely with the Creative Director and Entertainment team in the development of new entertainment products.

• Partner with the Maintenance Department to ensure show scenic elements are always maintained at an acceptable level.

• Work closely with the Technical team in the development of scenic bid packages.

• Maintain an ongoing awareness of entertainment industry standards and trends.

• Ensure show scenic elements are always maintained at a high show quality.

Requirements:

• Current university students or associate degree students graduating in or after 2025, major in Design, Arts or any other related disciplines. 

• Strong drafting and computer skills, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, AutoCad, 3D MAX and etc. 

• Demonstrated ability to interpret artistic views through various visual mediums with good presentation skills. 

• Energetic, strong team-players and passionate about Disney.

• Excellent command of English and Chinese, including both spoken Cantonese and Putonghua.

• Have the right of abode in Hong Kong SAR.

• Must be available for a full-time internship for three consecutive months between May and August 2025

• Previous work experience at Disney theme parks will be considered as an added advantage.
