QA Engineer - Online Gaming Platform

The Role

As a QA Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the quality of our platform. You'll work closely with development teams to identify and report bugs, conduct thorough testing with a focus on performance, and contribute to the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases

• Conduct performance, load, and stress testing using tools such as JMeter or k6

• Perform manual and automated testing on web applications and APIs

• Identify, report, and track bugs using bug tracking systems

• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues

• Participate in code reviews from a QA perspective

• Ensure the platform's compliance with gaming regulations and standards

• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably in web applications

• Proficiency with performance testing tools, particularly JMeter or k6

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

• Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)

• Proficiency in bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla)

• Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

• Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, SoapUI)

• Knowledge of SQL for database testing

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a remote team setting

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in gaming or gambling industry QA

• Knowledge of security testing principles

• Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Puppeteer)

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Basic programming skills in JavaScript or Python

• ISTQB certification or equivalent
