This role is based in New York or San Francisco and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.
About the Role
Patreon is seeking a highly skilled and passionate iOS Engineer to join our New Fandom Team. Your primary responsibility will be to build new functionality in an iOS app that serves as an all-in-one solution for creators’ commerce and community. This team aims to streamline the process for creators to gather fans, engage their community, and leverage powerful insights to deterministically reach their audience, decreasing fan acquisition costs and enhancing monetization opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Architect and develop a new segment of the Patreon iOS app, focusing on a seamless blend of community interaction and commercial functionality.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate users and creator feedback and make data-driven decisions to enhance app functionality.
Collaborate with the product and design teams to translate complex and dynamic requirements into elegant, user-friendly solutions.
About You
6+ years of experience as a software engineer.
Proactive self-starter who excels in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Passionate about creating meaningful solutions that bridge community engagement and commerce.
Highly collaborative and can effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members.
Continuous improvement mindset and are always looking for ways to innovate and stay ahead.
