We are seeking Data Research Specialists to work in our Data Operations team. This role involves managing large volumes of data efficiently, supporting our Product and Tech teams with data validation, analysis, and updates. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for accuracy.

As a Senior Research Specialist, you will also mentor junior team members, contribute to process improvements, and play a key role in maintaining a high standard of data management within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Research data from secondary sources and validate accuracy based on assigned tasks in the excel or similar tools
  • Enhance the quality and accuracy of datasets by identifying, researching, and resolving errors flagged by internal teams or customers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define research objectives, methodologies, and deliverables, while providing insights and recommendations to key decision-makers.
  • Conduct rigorous quality checks on all research outputs and implement processes to streamline data collection, validation, and reporting.
  • Prepare comprehensive research reports, presentations, and briefs for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
  • Onboard, train junior research specialists, helping them improve productivity and their understanding of data processes.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in information management, data analytics, computer science, or a similar field
  • 2+ years of experience in data research, analysis, or operations is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
  • Strong understanding of research methodologies, including both qualitative and quantitative techniques.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to assess situations and make informed decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proven capability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
