Job Description

Tesla is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join its Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg team. Responsibilities include timely compilation and verification of payroll-relevant data for submission to an external payroll provider; maintaining payroll documents in digital employee files; processing advances and other manual payments outside of the monthly payroll; collaborating with internal stakeholders and external service providers; handling garnishment orders; generating payroll reports; and developing and implementing process optimization recommendations. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll processing, knowledge of local laws and labor regulations, excellent German and English communication skills (at least B2 level), a completed vocational training or university degree, and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. Experience with HRIS and e-ticketing systems is a plus.

Als Problemlöser für System- und Prozessprobleme arbeitest du eng mit unserem HR Ops Team, unserem Finance Team, dem externen Abrechnungsdienstleister sowie anderen internen und externen Partnern zusammen. 

What You’ll Do

Fristgerechte Zusammenstellung und Überprüfung der abrechnungsrelevanten Daten und Übermittlung dieser an unseren externen Abrechnungsdienstleister
Pflege der abrechnungsrelevanten Dokumente in den digitalen Mitarbeiterakten
Bearbeitung von Vorschüssen und anderen manuellen Zahlungen außerhalb der monatlichen Entgeltabrechnung
Enge Abstimmung mit unseren internen Stakeholdern und/oder externen Dienstleistern
Bearbeitung von Pfändungsbeschlüssen
Erstellung von Auswertungen zur Entgeltabrechnung
Ausarbeitung von Empfehlungen für Prozessoptimierungen und deren Umsetzung

What You’ll Bring

Erfahrung in der Entgeltabrechnung und Grundkenntnisse der lokalen Gesetze sowie arbeitsrechtlicher Richtlinien
Hervorragende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift (mind. B2-Niveau)
Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung oder Studium
Kenntnisse in HRIS- und E-Ticketing-Systemen (von Vorteil)
Organisationstalent, Detailorientierung und Fähigkeit, mehrere Aufgaben in einem dynamischen Umfeld zu priorisieren
Belastbarkeit sowie höfliches und professionelles Auftreten in der Kommunikation auf allen Unternehmensebenen
Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office, insbesondere Excel
