Description
Job Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute sourcing strategies to support Buckman global affiliates on cost saving and sales/profit growth. 2. Find and develop best suppliers to meet current and future requirements. 3. Responsible for seeking total cost advantage whenever possible. Identify opportunities and suppliers which result in advantage in quality, delivery, functionality, price, reliability, logistics, business-to-business integration, currencies and optimized total cost. 4. Determine suppliers’ long-term partner potential, including how each party benefits. Annually develop cost improvement strategies and targets for key product categories. 5. Initiate and execute specific supplier improvement and cost/expense reduction initiatives. 6. Provide sourcing and procurement assistance to Technology Sourcing Team for new product development. 7. Conduct supplier management and annual evaluation with performances tracking and continuous improvement. 8. Develop and manage procurement budgets, ensuring alignment with strategy, financial targets and operational goals. 9.Implement and optimize procurement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency, transparency, and compliance. 10.Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sourcing and procurement professionals, fostering a culture of transformation for sustainable growth. 11.Coordinate with other functional teams to ensure all sourcing and procurement activities adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Qualifications:
1. 10+ years experiences in Sourcing/ Procurement, at least 5+ years in leadership role 2. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. 3. Strong knowledge of chemical industry supply chains and market dynamics. 4. Proficient in spoken & written English 5. Mature, initiative with good analytical and communications skills with different levels 6. High team-work spirit, honest, stable, reliable 7. SAP experience is preferred
