Job Description

Google Threat Intelligence (GTI) seeks a Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement platform features, ensuring scalability and security. Responsibilities involve processing and analyzing massive threat intelligence data, collaborating with security experts, optimizing performance, and staying updated on the latest threats. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience building and managing threat intelligence teams, analyzing system security, and possessing strong communication and leadership skills. The role contributes to building the next generation of GTI, pushing the boundaries of threat detection and analysis.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in CS or related field
5+ years experience in threat intelligence
System security analysis experience
Technical and cybersecurity expertise
Design, develop, implement platform features
Process and analyze massive datasets

Good to have:

Experience with detection, incident response
Threat modeling, vulnerability scanning
System and network hardening
Analytical problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and leadership skills

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience building and managing threat intelligence teams in companies or government agencies.
Experience analyzing the security of systems (e.g., security testing, vulnerability scanning, threat modeling, etc.).
Experience with technical and cyber security.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with detection, incident response, threat intelligence, and systems and network hardening.
Ability to work analytically to process multidimensional information and solve for connections.
Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
