Summary

As a Software Architect at Luxoft, you will design and architect middleware solutions for automotive systems, defining architecture and integration strategies. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, overseeing development and integration of middleware components (communication, diagnostics, power management, etc.). Ensuring compliance with standards (AUTOSAR, ISO 26262) and performing performance analysis are key responsibilities. You'll provide technical leadership, mentorship, and documentation, staying current with industry trends. Code and requirement reviews are also part of the role. The position involves working on In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems within the automotive industry, using agile methodologies.

Project description

Luxoft is the major independent Software Services company world-wide. We deliver professional software services in multiple business verticals, especially Automotive. The Digital Cockpit practice as part of Luxoft automotive delivers stunning user experience to our customers. We develop IVI systems from pixel to silicon and apply agile methodologies to tackle challenging projects in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

Design and architect middleware solutions for automotive systems.

Define middleware architecture and integration strategies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with overall system architecture.

Oversee the development and integration of middleware components (e.g., communication, diagnostics, power management, IPC, logging, health management, network management, software update).

Ensure middleware solutions comply with industry standards and regulations (e.g., AUTOSAR, ISO 26262).

Conduct performance analysis and optimization of middleware components.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.

Document middleware architecture, design decisions, and best practices.

Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in automotive middleware.

Participate in code, requirements reviews and provide constructive feedback.
