Job Description

Postman is looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to join its team in the Bay Area. This is a contract-to-hire position. As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you will be responsible for leading and refining the full-cycle recruitment process for product and engineering roles, ensuring a smooth, positive candidate experience. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to deeply understand technical requirements of the role, the function, and how it fits into the organization. You will also develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to find talent from non-traditional and diverse sources. You will act as a consultant to hiring managers, providing insights and recommendations on best hiring practices, market trends, and compensation strategies. Finally, you will foster relationships with past applicants and potential candidates to build networks, creating a rich talent pool for future needs.

We are seeking a contract-to-hire technical recruiter to join our team in the Bay Area and assist in our expansion.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and refine the full-cycle recruitment process for product and engineering roles, ensuring a smooth, positive candidate experience.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to deeply understand technical requirements of the role, the function, and how it fits into the organization.

About You:

  • Possess 8+ years of technical recruiting experience, with a focus on product and engineering roles in a fast growing technology start-up.
  • Demonstrated success in using innovative sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates.
  • Strong understanding of the competitive landscape and how to engage top talent in the tech industry.
  • Proven track record in managing senior stakeholders and acting as a talent advisor.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing candidates and hiring teams alike.

What Else?

This role is based in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, and the reasonably estimated hourly rate for this role ranges from $50 to $90 per hour. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
