Job Description

Alphaserve Technologies is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Data Developer. The role involves working as a core database developer, writing DDL and DML statements, and looking for areas of improvement in monitoring, application stability, and speed of determining the root cause. You will perform troubleshooting, analysis, research, and resolution using advanced query and programming skills. Additionally, you will be responsible for performance tuning, query analysis, root cause analysis, and continuously improving your knowledge around information security. This role requires 5+ years of total experience with hands-on experience in PostgreSQL, MySQL, and T-SQL programming. Good knowledge of MS-SQL is advantageous. Experience with any ETL tool will be considered an added advantage. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals and maintain vigilance regarding the overall security of Alphaserve and the client’s receiving our services.

Must have:

5+ Years of total experience
Hands-on experience in PostGreSQL
Hands-on with MySQL and T-SQL programming
Experience with any ETL tool
Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively

Good to have:

MS-SQL knowledge

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

To work as core database developer and write DDL and DML statements.

Looks for areas of improvement in monitoring, application stability, and speed of determining the root cause.

Performs troubleshooting, analysis, research and resolution using advanced query and programming skills. Performance tuning and query analysis

Conducts root cause analysis.

To continuously improve on their knowledge around information security as it relates to their job and identifying and preventing phishing attempts

Job Requirements

5+ Years of total experience

Hand on experience in PostGreSQL

Hands on with MySQL and T-SQL programming

Good to have MS-SQL knowledge

Experience with any of the ETL tool will be added advantage

Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.

Remain vigilant while continuing to maintain and enhance the overall security of Alphaserve and the client’s receiving our services.

Maintain awareness about the potential risks based on the environment they are operating in and the clients they are working on

Desired Skills

Willingness to work post official hours(not regularly)

Should be a good team player
