Senior QA Tester

The Opportunity

As a Senior QA Tester, you would be part of the Quality Assurance team at Trailmix who are responsible for working with the development, product, design, art and analytics teams to help ensure that all of the releases meet the high quality standards that our players expect in order to make a big impact on our first game, Love and Pies.

As the ideal candidate you will be an experienced QA tester ideally within the games industry, who has either practical experience and/or is passionate about free-to-play mobile games, and has a versatile skill set in order to hit the ground running.

The Day to Day

• Review feature or content specification, provide feedback and create optimised feature test plans for assigned features from content, live ops and feature teams
• Responsible for comprehensive testing of assigned features and content, working closely with other QA team members and the various studio teams
• Peer review test plans created by QA team members in order to ensure the test plans in order to leave no stone unturned
• Provide suggestions and feedback for test process improvements

About You

• Previous experience in quality assurance within the games industry at a development studio, with mobile F2P experience a definite plus, although having an appreciation for the F2P genre is essential
• Problem solver with a curious mindset and able to break down a feature to formulate test plans and test strategies
• Experience with creating test plans for features, both using functional and non-functional test techniques
• Experience with bug workflows and test case management systems (ideally Jira and Testrail)
• Good communication and teamwork skills with a curious mindset, able to work collaboratively within a team to a high standard within required timelines
• Exposure to in-game analytics and content management systems
• Exposure to test automation and development environments such as Unity and Unreal

Our London Studio Location
