Job Description

The Senior Program Manager I at Google Cloud Business Platforms (GCBP) will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects related to enterprise finance using SAP or other ERP systems. Responsibilities include implementing communication standards, establishing program review cadences, leading governance for executive decision-making, defining program portfolios focusing on high business impact, and building alliances with cross-functional stakeholders. The role requires 8+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects in enterprise IT financial systems implementation, identifying gaps and driving them to closure. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for product innovation, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. The team delivers solutions enabling growth within a dynamic environment with significant impact opportunities.

Must have:

8+ years managing cross-functional projects
Enterprise IT financial systems implementation experience (SAP)
Excellent communication & executive presentation skills
Problem-solving & high business impact focus
Cross-functional stakeholder management

Good to have:

Ability to operate in fast-paced environments
Passion for product innovation and challenging timelines
Experience identifying and resolving system gaps

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects, specially enterprise finance using SAP or other ERP.
Experience in Enterprise IT financial systems implementation using SAP, identifying gaps and driving them to closure.

Preferred qualifications:

Ability to operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to represent and prepare executive level communication and articulate business or technical concepts to senior leadership.
Passion for driving product innovation and excellence, with the ability to challenge engineering timelines and product decisions.

Responsibilities

Implement communications standards across a portfolio of programs including executive and key partner communications.
Establish a reliable and visible cadence for program reviews, decision-making, prioritization, and Resource Stewardship (effective deployment of machine and people resources).
Lead a governance structure that drives executive decision-making.
Define/manage a program portfolio solving problems that focus on high business impact for the organization.
Build alliances with cross-organization and cross-functional stakeholders who have similarly aligned priorities.
