Job Description

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Progress, you'll be part of our MOVEit team, developing secure collaboration and automated file transfers of sensitive data. You'll contribute to new features, write high-quality code, promote best practices, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior colleagues. Your expertise in C#, .NET, React/Angular, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and robust backend services will be essential. You'll be working with a friendly and collaborative team across multiple sites, applying your knowledge of networking concepts and HTTP/S communication.

Must have:

Solid experience with C# and .NET technologies
Proficiency in front end development using React or Angular
Experience with modern JavaScript or TypeScript
Demonstrated experience in robust and secure backend services
Knowledge of networking concepts and HTTP/S communication
Excellent team collaboration
Dedication to quality
Ability to learn and adapt quickly
Good written and verbal English skills

Good to have:

Working knowledge in one or more of the following: Java, or C++
REST API design, implementation, and usage
Understanding of file transfer protocols FTP, SFTPD
Database design and performance analysis
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) and SAFe methodology

MOVEit provides secure collaboration and automated file transfers of sensitive data and advanced workflow automation capabilities without the need for scripting.

We are expanding our Sofia site with a new scrum team and are looking for people with a high “curiosity quotient” who are interested in rapidly expanding their software development skills. Our team is open and friendly, and we back each other up. We mentor, share, collaborate and solve problems together to deliver the best solutions possible for our customers.

In this role, you will:

Develop New Features: Research and implement functionalities to enhance our products and services.
Write Quality Code: Produce clean, maintainable code following team standards.
Promote Best Practices: Lead code reviews and participate in planning and architectural discussions.
Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams to design, test, and improve solutions.
Mentor Others: Support and guide less experienced team members.
Coordinate Globally: Collaborate effectively within our multi-site organization.

Your background:

Solid experience with C# and .NET technologies
