As the Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, reporting, and developing insights for a diverse group of stakeholders, enabling them to meet their operational and commercial goals, ultimately enhancing the customer experience. Your business acumen and technical expertise will empower you to generate innovative ideas, metrics, and visualizations that drive both strategic and operational solutions.

In this role, you will be instrumental in elevating business users' capabilities to interpret and extrapolate insights from raw data. You will also collaborate closely with a team of analysts, providing peer reviews and helping them develop a wide range of technical and soft skills.

This position demands strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You should have an analytical mindset, fueled by a genuine passion and curiosity for understanding our customers, brand, and product offerings.

With our HQ in Brisbane, we also have offices in Darwin, Sydney, Auckland, and Wellington. Your day-to-day...

• Contribute to the execution of the Insights and Data strategy, employing strong data governance across the organisation.
• Gather and document requirements for reporting from business stakeholders.
• Contribute to an innovative environment that transitions the reporting function from a reactive, task-based group to a proactive, forward-looking team that helps guide the business.
• Execute data analysis activities, including updating of reports, data validation, data discovery and, data issue investigations.
• Lead the implementation of a range of data sets, SSRS reports and Power BI dashboards, enabling the operational and commercial requirements for various departments.
• Identify gaps in existing information provision and opportunities for new levels of support for business decision making and operations.

What you’ll bring...

• Proven track record gathering high-quality reporting requirements and translating into effective reports, dashboards, and insights. Prior experience in business analyst role highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of relational, tabular and multi-dimensional data structures.
• Extensive experience in SQL Server/SSRS/Power BI/DAX/Excel/Power Pivot.
• Stong client communication, stakeholder engagement and stakeholder management skills, both written and verbal.
• Inquisitive and insightful with a passion for analytics and data-driven decision-making.
