We have an exciting opportunity to join our Engineering team in Poland and are currently looking for a QA Tester to join the team. 

As a QA Tester at VGW, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by identifying bugs, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement. The role will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver a seamless user experience.

In terms of our tech stack, we host our docker containerised apps on AWS, sometimes in ECS but moving to EKS Kubernetes. In the containers, we run Kotlin on the JVM. TypeScript runs our client side where it’s mostly React. Our databases are PostgreSQL and DynamoDB with Snowflake as our Data warehouse. 

What you will bring to the role:

● Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester or similar role.
● Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
● Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (e.g., black-box, white-box, exploratory testing), tools, and processes.
● Proficiency in planning, writing, and executing clear and concise test case scenarios and bug reports.
● Excellent communication skills for reporting bugs and collaborating with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
● Time management, problem-solving and organizational skills to handle multiple testing activities simultaneously.
