Job Description

This role at Google focuses on Product Management for Cloud Storage Security and Governance. Responsibilities include driving strategy and execution of security and governance capabilities, defining product requirements for new features and releases, managing the feature/release lifecycle, and working with engineering and cross-functional teams. The Product Manager will accelerate adoption and business growth by partnering with various teams, understanding the challenges of building a large-scale service, and addressing data protection and privacy needs for customers globally. Must have:

5+ years product management experience
2+ years launching technical products
2+ years experience in data storage product management
Drive product strategy and execution
Define product requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Good to have:

Experience in data privacy and protection product development
Experience building products for global markets

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
2 years of experience in product management and in data storage.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience building and launching new products in data privacy.
Experience building and launching new products in data protection.
Experience with product development in systems.

Drive strategy, idea, and execution of security and governance capabilities.
Define product requirements for new features and releases.
Drive feature/release life-cycle working with engineering, other product areas (e.g., Cloud Security) and other stakeholders.
Accelerate adoption and business growth by partnering with cross-product area teams, account teams, and solution teams.
Understand the challenges and opportunities associated with building a service for the scale of the team.
