The Role: Principal Content Strategist (Remote)

We are looking for a highly skilled and versatile Content Strategist who can take ownership of developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy. This person will be responsible for producing both technical and marketing copy that resonates with our target audience and drives engagement across all channels. The ideal candidate is scrappy, creative, and resourceful, with experience in SaaS or Pharma-Tech industries. They must be capable of balancing high-level strategy with hands-on content creation, including everything from long-form articles to landing pages.

 

Your objectives:

  • Content Strategy Development: Create and execute a cohesive content strategy that supports business objectives and aligns with our product positioning and marketing goals.
  • Content Creation: Write compelling content for a variety of formats including blog posts, white papers, website copy, product pages, case studies, email campaigns, landing pages, etc. 
  • Translate complex healthcare and pharmaceutical topics into clear, concise, and relatable content for various audiences

Marketing Copy: Craft marketing-oriented copy for digital campaigns, product launches, sales collateral, and lead generation efforts, ensuring a consistent brand voice across all materialsEditorial Calendar Management: Develop and maintain an editorial calendar that aligns with business goals and product launches, ensuring timely and consistent content delivery.Develop a tone of voice guide and maintain consistency across all touchpointsConduct research to ensure the accuracy of all content, staying updated with healthcare industry trendsPerformance Measurement: Track the effectiveness of content efforts by monitoring performance metrics. Use insights to continuously improve content strategies.

A successful applicant will fit the following criteria:

  • 7+ years of experience as a content strategist / copywriter, preferably within B2B healthcare, pharmaceutical, and/or technology sectors
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of content types (digital, print, etc.)
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to distill complex concepts into simple, engaging, and accessible language
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a startup setting
  • A bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
