Job Description

This is a senior-level Murex MxML Consultant role at a major trading house. The project involves supporting and developing an application for one of the world's largest traders. The role requires significant Murex MxML development experience (at least 3 years on version 3.1), strong SQL skills, and a good understanding of financial markets. Responsibilities include MxML development, pre-trade activities, DevOps tasks (using Git, Jenkins, Jira), technical solution design, and end-to-end solution ownership. The project is long-term and rapidly expanding, offering opportunities for personal and professional development within a skilled team. The successful candidate will have experience with FX Cash, FX Derivatives, and Commodities and ideally some Java experience and familiarity with DevOps tools. The role is remote in India.

Must have:

5+ years Murex Development experience
3+ years Murex MxML experience (3.1)
MxML workflow & formulae development
Advanced SQL
Good financial market understanding
Unix

Good to have:

DevOps experience (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA)
Java integration in MXML
Commodity trade exposure
Pretrade experience
Technical solution design & ownership

MXML Development

Basic pretrade

DevOps on Murex experience (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, etc)

Technical solution design experience and start-to-end solution ownership

Experience with FXCash, FX Derivatives, Commodities

Skills

Must have

5+ years of Murex Development experience

Minimum 3 Years of Murex MxML experience on 3.1

Good MxML workflow and formulae development

Advanced SQL

Good general financial market understanding

Unix

Nice to have

DevOps on Murex experience (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, etc) highly regarded

Good Java experience, especially integrating Java code in MXML

Exposure to Commodity type trades

Pretrade experience

Technical solution design experience and start-to-end solution ownership
