Job Description

This role involves leading and managing a team to deliver a Murex upgrade project (v3.1.38 to v3.1.6x) for a leading private bank in India. The project encompasses all streams, including front and back office, finance, risk, integration, reporting, testing, configuration and environment management. Responsibilities include project initiation, planning, scheduling, execution and completion; stakeholder communication and management; risk and issue identification and mitigation; and people and resource management. The ideal candidate possesses 10+ years of experience, 4+ years in Murex project/program management, and strong understanding of Murex applications and treasury business processes. Expertise in at least one Murex module is required, along with excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent leadership skills

Good to have:

Murex multi-entity implementation experience
Murex upgrade program experience
Understanding of Tri-party dependencies
Project Management (PMP) or Agile Certification

Project description

Our customer is a leading private bank in India that provides front-to-back integrated treasury solution. Bank is embarking upon first ever Murex upgrade (v3.1.38 to v3.1.6x) since implementation. Luxoft has been chosen as the System Integrator partner for this project and will have key roles across all the streams - Front Office, Back Office, Finance, Risk, Integration, Reporting, Test Management, Configuration & Environment management. We are looking for experienced & motivated Murex colleagues to join this exciting program and contribute towards the success of this engagement

Responsibilities

Responsible for leading and managing a team to deliver the Murex v3.1.38 to v3.1.6x upgrade engagement

Responsible & Accountable for end to end execution of project

Responsible for Project Initiation, Planning & Scheduling, Execution & Completion

Stakeholder communication, stakeholder management & fostering strong relationship with clients, team members & end user stakeholders

Identifying Risk, Issues, Critical path activities and tracking their mitigations, resolution & coming up with solutions

Provide status update related to all the stakeholders

Responsible for People Management & Resource management

Project status tracking & setting up different levels of governance

Skills

Must have

Overall 10+ years of industry experience

4+ years of experience in Murex Project Management & Program Management

Good Understanding of Murex Application & ability to comprehend end to end processes

Subject Matter Expert in at least one Murex Module (MxML, Interfaces, Risk, Back Office Workflows, Datamart Reporting, Front Office)

Overall good understanding of Treasury Business

Good to have experience in Murex Multi entity implementation and Upgrade programs

Understand the Tri party dependencies and manages risks and issues effectively.

Excellent leadership and management skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Nice to have

Project Management Certification (PMP) or Agile Certification
