Job Description

Google is seeking a Manufacturing Test Development Engineer to support the development of manufacturing tests for new and existing hardware designs. You will be responsible for writing test plans, driving test coverage, developing automated test scripts using Python, and designing and deploying test platforms. You will also define the Manufacturing Test Strategy for new Products and work with our partners to develop the required Test solutions. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in manufacturing test development, experience with scripting languages such as Python, and excellent networking skills. They will also be able to travel as needed.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in manufacturing test development.
Experience in development of manufacturing test software and hardware using custom electronics, fixturing, and instrumentation.
Experience with scripting languages, such as Python.
Ability to generate product-specific test plans and execute testing accordingly.
Excellent networking skills.
Ability to travel as needed.

Minimum qualifications:

Support Manufacturing Test Development for new and existing hardware designs.
Write test plans and drive test coverage based on product requirements.
Develop automated test scripts for functional test, software installation and burn-in using Python.
Design, build and deploy test platforms for Google's global manufacturing partners.
Define the Manufacturing Test Strategy for new Products and works with our partners to jointly develop the required Test solutions.
