About the Role & Program

Are you someone who is looking to craft the employee experience; support and equip leaders to transform their businesses and develop their teams, while demonstrating excellence in everything you do?
The Walt Disney Company (TWDC) is looking for a Learning Delivery Intern to join the Learning and Talent Solutions (L&TS) Center of Excellence. This team is a highly visible group that plays an integral role in developing leaders and building the employee experience across the organization!

What You Will Do

  • Support the daily operations of both virtual and in-person employee development experiences by researching and documenting regional resources, calendaring of sessions, working with stakeholders across multiple time zones, and providing access to resources and materials.
  • Execute logistical deliverables for New Hire Orientation and leadership development programs, such as enrollment management, communication deployment, inbox management, and materials inventory.
  • Maintain program offerings and accurate enrollment data in Learning Management System
  • Assist in delivering virtual learning experiences via Zoom and other platforms; moderate breakout rooms, chats, and other tools during live virtual sessions.
  • Travel locally to set up and tear down events, often several per week, including driving personal vehicle within Burbank and Glendale to transport materials as needed.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven professionalism and integrity in written and verbal communication, thoughtfully interacting with all levels of employees
  • Demonstrated project management, data management and organization skills
  • Experience working in both PC and Mac environments
  • Intermediate Excel skills

Education

  • A junior, senior or recent graduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Communications, Project Management, Human Resources, or related field

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
  • Enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information

  • The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 - June 2025
  • Candidate must be available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship
  • This internship is a primarily on-site position -- Must be able to provide own housing and reliable transportation for work in the Burbank, CA area. Also requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace.

The pay rate for this internship in California is $22.00 per hour. Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
