The IT Operations and Betting System Security Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the IT department while ensuring the security and integrity of the betting system. This role combines the responsibilities of managing IT infrastructure, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities:

1.Security Framework Implementation:

  • Develop, implement, and manage the security framework for the betting system to prevent fraud and unauthorized access.
  • Continuously monitor and update security protocols to address emerging threats.
  • Liaise with global counterparts that will assist with guidance on policy and security program development.

2. Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing:

  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Work with a global team to coordinate testing and bug bounty activities.
  • Analyze assessment results and implement necessary security measures.

3. Incident Protocol Implementation:

  • Develop and implement an incident protocol outlining the steps to be taken in case of security breaches.
  • Coordinate incident response efforts and ensure timely resolution of security incidents.

4. Regulatory Compliance:

  • Liaise with the Compliance Officer to ensure the betting system complies with rules and requirements issued by the Ministry of Finance/SPA and other applicable regulations.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure the betting system’s security measures are in compliance.

5. IT Operations Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, including supporting user devices such as laptops, server and network maintenance, and user support (including onboarding and offboarding).
  • Working with global counterparts to ensure the local IT infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure.

6. Project Management:

  • Manage IT and security projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

7. Stakeholder Communication:

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, locally and globally, including senior management, to provide updates on IT operations and security status.
  • Prepare and present reports on IT and security performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT operations management and cybersecurity.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, vulnerability assessments, and secure software development practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with compliance officers and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to betting systems.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in security tools and technologies.
  • Proven prior experience in technical leadership roles.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stay updated with the latest security trends and regulatory requirements.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or other recognised security qualification.
  • Experience in the betting or gaming industry.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements from the Ministry of Finance/SPA

The selected candidate must be based in Brazil, São Paulo.
