Summary

Naughty Dog seeks a Helpdesk Technician for a temporary, on-site position. Responsibilities include building custom PCs, providing first-line technical support (hardware/software) for local and remote users, troubleshooting, installing/repairing hardware/software, assisting with equipment setup and deployment, documenting resolutions, escalating issues, managing IT hardware inventory, and shipping/receiving. The ideal candidate will possess strong PC building skills, exceptional customer service, and troubleshooting abilities, and a solid understanding of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365. Bonus skills include experience with various operating systems, scripting, A/V systems, live streaming, and Sony PlayStation hardware.

This position is for a temporary engagement through our staffing partner DZConneX Services. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for this position.

This will be an on site position, requiring you to be in the studio five days per week.

For nearly 40 years, Naughty Dog has been crafting best-selling, critically acclaimed games that constantly push the boundaries of narrative, gameplay, and technology. Naughty Dog recently released The Last of Us Part II Remastered as well as a current generation remake of The Last of Us Part I for the PS5 . We're also proud to say that The Last of Us Part I is now available for the first time on PC. Currently, we’re busy at the kennel working on a brand-new single player game that we're excited about and we'd love to find talented individuals to join us.

We are seeking a Helpdesk Technician to join our IT team in supporting our infrastructure and development team. This position will be the first line of technical support for local and remote users. The ideal candidate will have technical experience, exceptional customer service skills, and will be able to collaborate well in a team environment. The candidate would also have a strong passion for building PCs, customer service, problem solving, and supporting cutting edge hardware and software solutions. What you will do:

  • Build custom PC workstations on-site
  • Serve as first point of contact for hardware and software technical issues
  • Perform remote and local troubleshooting and diagnostics
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware, software, and peripherals for users
  • Assist with equipment setup and deployment to local and remote users
  • Follow up with users and see problems through to resolution
  • Document instructions and resolutions
  • Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support
  • Organization and inventory of IT hardware
  • Shipping and receiving of IT hardware
  • Movement of user equipment and or servers throughout the office
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed

What skills you will use:

 

  • Proficiency building PCs and working with PC hardware
  • Strong client-facing customer service and communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Strong understanding of the Microsoft Windows 10/11 operating systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook

Bonus Skills:

  • Operating Systems: Windows 11, Ubuntu
  • Languages: Python, SQL, PowerShell, Bash
