About the job

Join our team as an experienced Automation Tester to conduct testing, automate tasks, and perform data analysis for the business. You will have opportunities to use your testing skills on various initiatives driven by regulatory requirements.

In this role, you will act as a testing partner with our business SMEs, data, and technology teams to understand the design and manage the testing deliverables, data validation, and analysis.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into specifications to implement workflow testing from potentially multiple data sources using Python solutions. You will also develop an understanding of data structures, including large-volume & complex databases, and implement automation solutions leveraging Python for quick data comparisons and exception analysis.

Additionally, you will analyse project requirements, create and implement test scripts, and analyse test results. You will also implement retesting as necessary, evaluate the results, and analyse the data obtained. You will conduct various phases of testing, support UAT, provide daily reports on testing metrics, and maintain robust testing documentation and artifacts.

What You Offer

  • A degree in information technology with 4+ years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Python Test Automation, automation testing; Git, various databases, frameworks, and an understanding of API features.
  • An understanding of CI/CD, and familiarity with architecture, Confluence, and Jira.
  • Experience in the banking/financial services industry is essential.
