This role involves driving the transformation of Google Cloud's telecommunications customers and the industry using AI and cloud technologies. The Enterprise Account Manager will build executive relationships, manage the entire sales cycle (often presenting to C-level executives), and lead account strategy for business growth. Responsibilities include identifying customer technology footprints, driving business development, forecasting accurately, achieving goals, and collaborating with Customer Engineers and Google Partners. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of technical sales experience in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, or data analytics products and platforms, along with experience managing large commercial agreements and complex implementation projects.
Must have:

  • SaaS/PaaS/IaaS/Data analytics experience
  • Fluent English communication
  • Lead account strategy and business growth
Good to have:
  • Experience with Infrastructure Software, Databases, Analytic Tools
  • Experience with large commercial agreements
  • Partner management in complex projects
  • Fluent Finnish communication

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of technical sales experience in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, or data analytics products and platforms.
  • Experience engaging with accounts, selling a portfolio of products at C-level.
  • Experience leading technical sales and account management for organizations.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in English with international stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience promoting Infrastructure Software, Databases, Analytic Tools, or Applications Software with experience working towards business goals.
  • Experience with large commercial and legal agreements working with procurement, legal, and business teams in large enterprises.
  • Experience working with and managing partners in complex implementation projects.
  • Ability to work with sales engineers and customers technical leads to inventory existing software estates and define migration plans, and build business cases for migrations.
  • Ability to exhibit positivity in a board-room atmosphere while providing advice to executive management.
  • Ability to communicate in Finnish fluently to interact with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Build executive relationships with a large telecommunications customer and Influence long-term direction and serve as a business partner.
  • Manage the entire cycle, often presenting to C-level executives and public sector customers.
  • Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, work collaboratively with Customer Engineers and Google Partners in order to optimize business results.
  • Identify the customer’s technology footprint, growth plans and business drivers, technology strategy, and engaged landscape.
  • Drive business development, forecast accurately, and achieve goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
