We are seeking a freelance English subtitle/SDH and Closed Caption editor with proven experience in the TV and movie industry. Responsibilities include editing subtitles and captions for various media, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards. Candidates must possess excellent English language skills (including slang and colloquialisms), a deep understanding of subtitling/captioning techniques, and proficiency with relevant software and cloud technologies. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and adaptability are crucial. The role requires a strong understanding of American culture and the ability to quickly adapt to workflow changes. This is a freelance, remote position based in Sydney, NSW, Australia.

Must have:
